There was Aoyama Daizennosuke’s residence in Edo era.
It established in 1872s, in 1926s it is the first public cemetery in Japan.
Area: about 26 hectares. One of the typical garden cemetery.
There are the graves over the 100,000 tombs that includes of many historical figures, such as Shiga Naoya and Okubo Toshimichi.
